MMST110: Introduction to Multimedia

(No prerequisite) Three lecture hours weekly.
This course will provide an overview of the burgeoning new field of multimedia. Through lecture and demonstration, students will learn about basic multimedia production as well as topics that include design, development, and marketing. Students will survey basic concepts and applications of multimedia production. Providing an aesthetic and historical framework, this course is the logical first step on the path to a career in multimedia.
